Niseko, one of Japan・s top 5 resorts, happened to have some of the driest powder snow found anywhere on the planet.With the average snowfalls exceeding 12m per year in the valley and upwards of 14m in the mountains, Niseko is made up of 3 main ski areas, (see more details in the .Ski area information・ under .Additional information・), including Hirafu, Annupuri and Higashiyama, namely the Niseko United and are equipped with an efficient lift system.

Not to forget the other 2 smaller ski areas: the off-piste powder heaven of Hanazono and Niseko United・s unexploited little brother - Moiwa. If you look up at the mountain from Hirafu, Hanazono is just over a few hills and gullies to your right; whereas Moiwa is just behind Annupuri, not being too extreme or crowded with big dumps and much powder.
